Open since June 2012, Southend Barns is a family-run wedding venue located on what was once a working farm. Influenced by its rural setting and history but with plenty of stylish and contemporary touches, the venue offers a beautiful balance of old meets new.

The expansive open spaces, manicured gardens and tranquil courtyards create a perfect backdrop to your special day with plenty of magical spots for your wedding day photography.

Eco-friendly wedding barns and more

Built and run to be as eco-friendly as possible, the wedding barns have been carefully restored to create the perfect setting for a romantic civil ceremony and wedding reception.

Set in luscious landscaped gardens with hidden courtyards and a terrace bar, you and your guests can enjoy a real piece of paradise.

Luxurious wedding accommodation

As part of your wedding, you will have access to luxurious and unique spaces. The Milking Parlour is a fully equipped bridal suite with plenty of room for wedding day preparations as well as cosy touches for a relaxed overnight stay. Our Mama Lou Shepherd’s Hut offers something a bit different with snug but stylish interiors and a beautiful countryside setting. We also have six luxurious bell tents through the summer months that can be used by your guests.
