Our beautiful venue has been designed specifically for weddings and every detail has been considered to ensure you have the most magical day.

We are committed to creating an exceptional occasion unique to every guest. Our events team can provide guidance and suggestions to ensure your wedding day style is reflected in every space, design and decoration used throughout our grounds, heritage buildings and manicured outdoor spaces.

You will have exclusive-use of the whole venue including our two fully-licensed ceremony spaces, large reception barn, two unique accommodation options, gardens, car park and stunning surrounding countryside.

We know that no two weddings are the same, so our close-knit team work with you to ensure every stage of your planning and preparation is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. On the morning of your wedding you’ll often find us mowing stripes on the lawns, sweeping away the puddles, putting out blankets and stoking the fire – no detail is ever too small!

We endeavour to take the pressure of organising and planning from your shoulders by providing an inclusive service with expertise from wedding event managers with years of experience. We listen carefully to your ideas and aspirations, and use that to create intricate, delicate, and comprehensive styling throughout our wedding venue.

As well as offering a range of props and finishing touches, we have also developed a beautiful collection of styling selections. With themes including Monochrome Magic, Amber Sunset, Boho Blush, Champagne Rose, Wild & Green and Elegant Ivory – there is something to suit every couple. One of the unique aspects of Southend Barns is that we combine our original buildings with carefully considered contemporary additions. Our beautiful grounds are surrounded by traditional farms including our popular herd of alpacas. This traditional charm is offset with beautiful modern touches such as our pagoda, gleaming polished concrete floor, manicured gardens and luxury facilities.

From the scent of a warming fire pit paired with our outdoor cocktail bar, to our use of homegrown or English produce and local wines, as well as our picture perfect grounds and interiors. Your wedding day is a truly special day, and we do everything we can to deliver an unforgettable day with personal service at every stage.

Southend Barns has been an exclusive wedding venue for over ten years. Our wedding services are grounded in excellent quality, as recognised in our wonderful reviews from previous guests.
